Refund policy

At K-Vanity, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a straightforward 14-day refund policy for all orders placed through our online store.


Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The product is unopened and unused in its original packaging
  • The product has not been applied to or tested on skin
  • The product is in resalable condition with no damage to packaging or contents
  • You have the original receipt or order confirmation

Products NOT Eligible for Refund

The following items cannot be refunded for hygiene and safety reasons:

  • Opened, used, or partially used products
  • Products with damaged or tampered seals
  • Products applied to skin (even if used once)
  • Products without original packaging
  • Items purchased from third-party retailers (not directly from K-Vanity)

How to Request a Refund

Step 1: Email us at support@k-vanity.co.za within 14 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for refund
  • Photos of the unopened product and packaging

Step 2: We'll review your request and respond within 2 business days with approval or next steps.

Step 3: If approved, we'll provide you with return shipping instructions.

Step 4: Once we receive and inspect your item, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days.


Return Shipping

  • Approved returns: We'll provide a prepaid return label or arrange collection at no cost to you
  • Denied returns: You're responsible for return shipping costs

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the funds to appear in your account.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos
  • We'll replace the item at no cost or issue a full refund
  • Return shipping is covered by K-Vanity

Product Quality Issues

If a product is defective or doesn't work as described (e.g., leaking, separated, expired), we'll replace it or refund you in full, regardless of whether it's been opened. Contact us with photos and details.


Pre-Order and Special Orders

Items marked as "pre-order" cannot be refunded after 48 hours of order confirmation. If you need to cancel a pre-order within 48 hours, contact us immediately.


Exceptions

We cannot process refunds for:

  • Personal preference (e.g., "didn't work for my skin")
  • Change of mind after opening
  • Products purchased during final sale events (clearly marked at checkout)
  • Orders refunded or credited to the wrong account due to customer error
